Yo Budding UBESsters

Me and Lizzie are organising an fun filled weekend to GOD's county (Yorkshire) to tackle the Yorkshire three peaks. The aim is to complete the 25km, 5200ft of ascent route in 12 hours. Depending on demand other less hard-core more Clay like walks may be organised.

Will be good fun, staying in a nice bunk house and Yorkshire pubs are the greatest in England.

ps here is a giant Yorkshire pudding with dinner in - I had one like it on boxing day (but with good looking sausages) and it was lovely!

Hi Lizam! (Liz and Sam, but said quickly and in the style of the wizard cry "Shazam!")

I asked George about it the other day before I knew you two were organising it, but I have three (possibly 4) non-UBES friends who were interested in doing it. If they have transport sorted, is it cool for them to come along?

Isn't it 25 miles?

Your second pud + sausages has a pair of knives and forks on the plate. What kind of meal is designed to be shared by two people? A farce of a meal, for criminals and Frenchmen, that's what.

It will actually be the second most amazing trip to Yorkshire, after I went to Leeds for the Otley Run in 2007 and saw a lego man fighting someone dressed in a crocodile outfit. Ah, a memory to treasure!
