Climbing Wall @ Undercover Rock
The climbing wall is located in Bristol's Climbing Centre, called Undercover Rock. It's cool cause it's in a church. There is more information about when we go here and how on the climbing page.
The centre is made up of three main areas:
Top Ropes
There are a wide range of different top roping routes covering difficulties from grade 4 to around grade 6B+. You don't need any of your own kit to turn up and use this area, and if you are a beginner you can get an experienced member of the club to supervise you whilst you learn how to tie in and belay in this area. All the routes are coloured/numbered beneath them to show what they are.

Lead Area
The wall has a really big lead area, with grades going up to something very high. There are good views from the cafe, and a good variety of routes to pick from.

Bouldering Area
The bouldering area is located under the cafe area, with nice soft mats to land on, plenty of tricky overhangs and a few traverses. Sometimes the centre runs bouldering competitions and leave problems marked on the wall to have a go at.

Other Amenities
The other main facilities that are relevant to us that the climbing wall has are:
- Cafe serving pizza slices (mmm £1), sausage rolls, soup, sandwiches etc...
- Kit hire for shoes, harnesses, belay devices / karabiners.
- Free locker hire to store your belongings in

I've pretty much exhausted my knowledge of the wall, but the website for Undercover Rock has some other useful information on it as well.
