Kenya 2007

The third trip of the summer 2007 was an unofficial trip organised by UBES members. It saw them take in, amongst other things, the mighty African Mt. Kenya.

Here's what happens, according to Kat Stiles:

On Top of Mount Kenya
(to the tune of "On Top of Old Smokey")
  
On top of Mount Kenya
All covered in mist
I did lots of exercise
But would've rather been pissed

For drinking's a pleasure
And climbing's a grief
But a muscley toned climber
Is the absolute beef!

A beef steak with cider
And chips on the side
Is all I desire
Cos my feet are so tired

I climbed up the mountain
To look at the view
But when I got up there
I was just feeling blue

For blue were my fingers
And blue were my toes
But red was the colour
Of my sunburnt nose!
